If you're "pants" at MTB, then I hate to think what word describes me at MTB!!!!

Interesting, but not for me, I need to at least be good at one sport before trying 2!

My Rad is Sick, which is a bad thing.... which is good.

Really? Mrsboy can run, I can't, I can't really ride a bike, but I can ride a bike better than I can run.

Team option is a good idea, worth doing.   Also you set off on fresh legs when the rest have had a run, much overtaking

I can't run (yet) due to back injury so team is a great option and something for me and Mrs MudMonkey to do together. We will both probably be slow relative to most others but I don't care.

Only bummer with the KW one is that its on the 7th march  - same day as the Fowlmead WW 4th race.  I was up in KW last sat for a ride & a bloke saw me getting my bike out the van - he came over asked if I was up for the duathlon on the 7th.  Ended up he organises it so I pointed out they will lose people due to the date clash with the fowlmead one - he said hed look into it.  Probably wont change though.

If they do clash ill still do the KW one as its local, something different & was the 1st race i done this year after doing nothing but study & work for a couple  of years (ie no real time to do fitness stuff) so want to see if I can better my last time.

So it ends up they changed the date to the 14th march for the kings wood duathlon - no clash with the fowlmead winter warmers now.   For those who think they cant run - id say dont be put off - there is all abilities, or find someone whos game for a laugh & split with them, you mtb, they run.
