For those of you who collect Tesco Club Card points theres now a new way to spend them,

http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=1160&bci=29|New%20Clubcard%20Deals

Spend them on a mountain biking course, beginners through to advance, vouchers worth 4 x their original value.

Looks good. All you'd need is 15 quids worth of clubcard points to get a free course if I'm correct.

I'm assuming it's the courses held at Bedgebury?

And also, if I were, does anyone reckon I would benefit from the intermediate one?

2010 Orange... But it's Blue, and me and the missus called it Five.. Better than Bob or Tim...

vouchers only cover beginner and intermediate from what I can see.

Intermediate looks good though:

- Bike set up and rider positioning
- Berms and Cornering at speed
- Drop offs - jumping these at speed
- Bunnyhopping/lifting the rear wheel
- Descents - steep and using different terrain
- Ascents - advanced techniques
- Trackstands
- Combining technical obstacles
- plus much more to help you go faster...

All training held in Milton Keynes though

My Rad is Sick, which is a bad thing.... which is good.

I bet mike the bike is cheaper..... there's not a lot he won't do for a curly whirly, a finger of fudge and a dariy lea.

Intermediate level seems quite high, quote
"Intermediate Course we would expect that you have significant riding experience such as Black runs in Wales and also have solid bike skills so you can happily lift the front wheels and also roll off of drop offs up to 50cm"

My new avitar is a clip from their last course.

The older I get the faster I was!

Check out my review of the course here.

Well worth it for plenty of people of similar level to me.  I'd like to think my riding has come on a little since i took the course but i'd recommend it, especially for £15 worth of clubcard vouchers!

Intermediate dose seem quite high. Would have thought things like drop offs would be in the advanced course. I fancy giving that a go too. Might do it in the summer and combine it with a trip to the ski centre too

I bought "Burnsy" an Airkix "Skydive" in that centre for his 30th - I think we are going to make a weekend of it, do some Snowboard/skiing lessons...

Might aswell go the whole hog and do some MTB too!!

That probably won't be free though   Would be cool if i could do the advanced under the club card scheme though.
