I have new I phone. Can anyone suggest a good protector for it. Also is there any sports tracker thing I can use on it? Any hints and tips you want to share?

get yourself a "contour hardskin" or a "capsule rebel"

both cases protect your phone.

you cannot scratch the screen with normal use, I don't have anything covering my glass, I used to have a protective film on it, got a few if you really want one, but I wouldn't bother.

must have apps:
sky sports
eBay
facebook
maptap lite (for sketchys super mapping!)

websites to bookmark to your menu:
sketchy (of course)
tvcatchup.com (watch live terrestrial tv for free!)

loads of other stuff, but those are
my main ones.

Sportstracker and Sporty pal should work on it, just go into the app store, click on navigation and it'll bring up loads. There is even one to help you find your car

Sportstracker is brilliant though, click on the link in my sig and you'll see all the rides i've logged. Even used it when ski-ing.

They are booth quite good, i have sportypal on my hero, i have seen only screen shoots from it on iPhone, but looks the same plus there is the live mapping tool. Sporttracker i think is only for nokia, also good app. And motion x, i have never tried but there are lots of good words about it.

No idea buddy, as Im on the 3G (you must have 3GS?) as I can only take photos.

Im sure you can get the movies into iTunes and go from there(?)

I downloaded Memory-Map Free last night, looks OK, although the supplied map is poo.  Really not sure whether I can warrant spending £20 for the proper App - BUT I do have all the maps for it.

Looks like this might finally make production which is good as the phone can do stuff similar to a PSP but with no controls it limits what games you can play on it plus theres word of one with a built in battery pack etc. Presumably you need to jailbreak them to play the emulators

None of them, the battery will die way before the end of your ride.
