saw the stations being loaded this week and first bike being ridden today whilst walked along the mall with the blue Barclays rear  mudguard/wheelguard

look a bit heavy for traffic light starts (23kgs I believe)

may have a go later in month- full year registration fee looks a bit high and need to check how often you can use as first 30mins free (so lots of 25 mins

anyone ridden one yet?

good photo of new london wheel

Frame size looks a bit big and the head angles too slack for road/street riding

Rear chainstay's looking a little off too, bet it's not as stable as a Boardman, which allows it's rider to ring someone else, while riding....

2010 Orange... But it's Blue, and me and the missus called it Five.. Better than Bob or Tim...

Yer, was built in 2009 due to demand and ridiculous queues at the original one

I went on it last last summer, it kinda spoils the view but only in one direction, and you can wave at the other people, cos you get quite close.

its really annoying as one wheel is slightly faster - no attention to details

Probably built by the same people that put escalators and the rubber hand rail together then.

Depending on which wheel you are on, of course

Sorry Wayne you are right, we got on the new one this time, which was cool as we had been on the old one years ago. I understand what you mean about the slightly restricted view though.

How did you miss that Ash?! It was big news last year...complete waste of lottery money.
You do get a discount if you want to go on both though. They had first class pods on the new one when we went too. Looked well luxurious.
