See attached GPX. I think it should just be the bits i rode but the original file had the route i tried to follow as well so might be a bit confused. I'm new to all this anyway... The last section (Charing to Challock) is all road due to running out of time. We took a few detours (unplanned) so if you follow this PLEASE make sure you go through it carefully and re-map any lost looking bits

I plan to ride the NDW from Canterbury to Kings Wood tomorrow and log it so i'll post that up too - that should give you most of the NDW from Shoreham to Canterbury

Be warned, the Shoreham to Medway section is quite a ride on its own (40 miles, lots of climbing). Follow at your own risk

I'm a bit confused at the difference between routes and tracks. Can i navigate using either or do i need to use routes?

I've created a track using tracklogs and tried to upload to the gps (using the garmin software) but i'm not sure it'll work. I can't seem to transfer it to a route though. Also gpx files i have downloaded only show as tracks.

Any advice?

I use Sportstracklive on my Google Android phone to log my rides which i then upload to the site, and have just discovered that i can download a Google Earth KMZ file.

Anyone know what i can do with this? I am guessing it's just to overlay the route onto Google Earth, but can i do anything else with it, like upload it to my phone and then follow the route?

If not dose anyone know of any Android apps that would allow me to do this?
