Hi Everyone....

After a Polish Lorry Driver deciding to play the "Bounce the car off my blind spot and spin it around" on the M20 I have whiplash with a bloody sore back and neck.

I am missing my riding soooo much and just when I was getting fit enough for a Blean Tue/Wed night too I reckon.

So............. my question is. "What would you do if you were at home for a week with a bad back and neck to pass the time?"

I have started having a clicking sound coming from around the front gears. The gear cables aren't catching and the sound is only present when pedalling not coasting or even with the bike upsie down and pedalling. It is intermittent but probably one click a rotation at its worst. I have checked the rear derailleur isn't catching and it doesn't look like it. The rear wheel does seem to have a small wobble when you spin it but it makes no sound when spun. The bike is only a month old. The other thing to bear in mind is i went out last Sunday and got coated in mud round Blean. Bike wasn't making the noise then so maybe it is grit that is caught somewhere, although it has been hosed down.
Thanks

James

Been using my 2003 East Peak loasds this summer so decided it upgrade a few bits, started looking for some decent forks, got these in the end from on one...
RockShox Reba Team Dual Air 100mm Fork with BB Motion Control and PushLoc / White / 9mm QR / 1 1/8

Then whilst I was at it thought I should replace the headset with a taper roller bearing one, then thought I would try a shorter stem, as my 110mm long one is a bit slow on the twisty single tracks, that I thought was it, but then of course I realised I would need a new front brake to fit on the new fork, so I got a Julie HP as my older Julies had done me so well..

Managed to get it all fitted today without too much drama, been for a quick blast to get the brakes bedded in & very impressed, although I have taken the Pushloc off already, I just know I’ll never use it & it took the space my bell used to occupy!

Will be out for a blast round blean first thing tomorrow to test it out in anger.. will let you know how I get on.

Andy
