Local trail/singletrack!
#1
Myself and Stu went for a local ride this evening. His first ride out on his newly built iron horse, and my second on the trance x0! Found some good bits of singletrack very locally so going to do some work on them tomorrow. I'm in the first 2 clip's, stu in the third.

Where about's is that? Not Cuxton is it?

Me and Steve found a track very similar looking, tis perfect hidden away amongst the area that's for sure.
My riding is more up and down than the damn area I live in! And the tart's knickers who lives next door - Combined!  :o

Ok in more specific terms.. Is it near the Mausoleum? About 1/4 mile down and through the gate(s) as if your were heading towards the river?
And does it end near a big field of chalk?

Have to show me what you know then, as I only know that bit and Darnly trail as good bits.

I'm going riding this evening (at some point) in the shorne\cobham area, any chance of a mem map\google map co-ordinate to help me find it?

If it's an easy find from the mausoleum then no worries, I know where that is (finding it on my bike could be another matter :-) )

I've just got in from a small jaunt over there this morning, mostly for the new and improved trail.. Nice work Hugh!
And that jump at the very bottom... Looks like fun, but it's abit big for the likes of me (and my bike) Love the jumps on the way down though, the first one isn't for me either as I would simply end up moulded to a tree, but the other 2 are great fun aswell are the berms.

Took Chestnut trail home too, was rather scenic to say the least. DEFINATELY some potential for more trails like the one you built on coming down onto Chestnut... Or running parrallel.

Have been building a new bit of singletrack the last couple of weeks when we have the chance! Managed to get a fair bit done today and even have a nice big crash on a new double we have built! Sadly no video of that Tongue Going back to sort the new jump out soon as it's a bit steep for the size etc.
However we have got a nice big double built which is lovely to hit. Fairly big in the flesh although this video doesn't show it:
