Reverb hose
#1
Anyone know what kind of hose I need to refresh the Reverb? The outer has cracked so I'd really better pull my finger out...

Uberbike do braided Reverb hoses, and in different colors too. Braided hose will never crack again Smile

6 quid a metre as opposed to £4 for standard. Seems like a good bet, thanks matey!

Presume it'll be fairly easy to work with and fit if I have the right fittings and bleed kit...?

Yep the same as normal hose, just need some decent cutters to get a clean cut. The hose just screws onto the barbs on post and remote with no need for any other fittings. Bleeding is very easy too, even i can do it, and i'm crap at bleeding brakes!

I'll give it a go Smile

Not sure if you can reuse the barbs. Looks like I have the threaded ones but struggling to get a definitive answer from Google as to exactly what I need to replace them with

What's the worst that can happen?!

Right, hose ordered

Does anyone have some proper hydraulic hose cutters I could borrow if I get stuck?

I'm pretty sure all you need to do is screw on the new hose onto the barbs on post and remote, that's all i had to do with mine. The system isn't under any high pressure so that's all that's needed. I have some decent cutters, but miles away.
