WANTED - Transition Frame Bearing Tool - 22mm
#1
Bit of a long shot but anyone got one of the 22mm frame bearing tool from Transition? Looks like they have stopped making that size. I have the bigger 28mm one but need the 22mm for the 6900 bearings.

Yep, they do the bigger one which I have for the larger bearings but the 6 smaller ones need the small tool. I emailed Transition and Carl sent me a message back saying they no longer do the small tool which is annoying!

Yeah as that kinda makes it impossible to change them yourself without bodging it...that is a genius decision, idiots! Have you tried ebay?

Can you get a picture/diagram of it? I can tell you how easy it would be to have made.

Having watched this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlZQtZfuFwI

I reckon if you showed a machinist that vid and told them the bearing diameter you could get a tool made for not a lot. 40 ish quid.

Good idea Lee. Think I may have cracked it though. Looks like one of the bearing press tools I have for my Hope Hubs is the right size and think I can bodge it onto the bigger tool with a few large washers. Difficult to know if it will work until I have it all appart. Will let you know if it works. Failing that found some similar tools at Superstar which should work and might be cheaper than getting one built up from scratch.
