All kinds of other solutions for stem/bar/tube mounting or saddle mounting etc... you just have to look...

I made a saddle thingy that carried a bottle cage on the "top tube" of my spesh.  Works very well for endurance events with long laps.  I will probably refit it for the 24/12.  Have to use a 750ml bottle to carry 500ml due to the angle, but it beats running out of fluid with 5 miles left!

I did cable tie one to my top tube before the first Fowlmead race but decided against it as it drastically reduced the stand over.

Anyway we are going way off topic now :B
