Hello Again!
#1
Hi All - Been a long time, 2 operations, various other nastyness etc.... but Im back! Smile

I had my first MTB ride since my second operation on Sunday around Bedgebury and have totally lost pretty much everything.... fitness, bottle, skill, sense of humour....

The {Only} good news from all of this is my knee was very good and pretty much the best working part of my body!

I guess I could not have had a tougher start than post xmas, super muddy and 1yr+ lack of bike action to wake me up...

Long...long way to go but Im over the moon to be back out, getting muddy and enjoying the scenery again regardless of speed or fitness!

Catch you all soon.

Nice one! I'm pretty new here, so don't know of your probs, but hope you recover to full fitness soon, I'm sure you already know, but it won't be long before you regain what you lost as long as you keep at it.

I'm regularly at Bedgebury, and went for a ride with Smoke and Oakum last week, planning to posts rides here whenever I go in future. Most of my weekend rides are with my son so the pace is pretty gentle.

Welcome back matey, glad to hear you've been back on the trails

One question though - why the absence? You know that actually riding a bike is a rarity for most of us Wink

Thanks chaps - Hi Mr Goat!

I guess I had no need to be on here.... pretty much had no reason before!! given the lack of riding.

So its just to say hi, Im not dead, but hopefully see some of you around at some point this year.

Setting out some goals and training plan to get upto some sort of speed, so long way to go!

Wahey! Hello mate.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. I'm totally unfit at the moment so let me know if you fancy a slow, 82% chatting, minimal actual riding, old skool genuine sketchy xc ride at some point.
