Sketchy NZ!
Scary stuff here. The footage of the city in ruins is frightening. We are far enough away to have not felt luckily.
Glad you are both ok though.
Great to hear you're all fine & unscathed.
Footage on TV looks awful Sad
Good to know your all ok! Had some news come in and it looked horrific.
On a more cheerful note - here are the hilights of my Sketchy NZ ride with Mark in Queenstown.  We hired a Trance (me) and Anthem (Mark) and rode them to the 7 mile scenic reserve just out of town

The trails were great but didn't link up sequentially in the same way a UK trail centre loop would.  For this reason i think the trail centre would be better once you get to know the layout a bit better.  Despite this there were some excellent dh sections of trail and lots of energy sapping climbs!  We were lucky it wasn't hotter and as it was we spent a lot of time chinwagging!

Was a really good day and great to catch up with Mark.  Claire was on hand after for a well needed cuppa!!

Well done Guys, does that count as the longest distance Sketchy group ride ever  Wink
The skinny was negotiated by us both - as a picnic table for lunch  :B
Haha nice one guys, great pics Nick.

Abz, I think you can safely say that was the furthest Sketchy ride, you cant get much further!
