£45 each and look like new (in fact they pretty much are, it was a very expensive experiment in bike setup  :'()

Bloody hell, why didn't you send them back or experiment with cheaper stems? :o If one of them was a 65mm 6deg rise i would chew your arm off for it, but hey ho.

yea i know! i kept thinking i had got the setup right but then found issues after riding a variety of trails. Anyway got it sorted now. And besides at least i got a nice short stem, the first part of my next bike, just not sure what to bolt on to it...........yeti ASR7, orange alpine 160 or santa cruz nomad?

once i have paid for my current bike of course!!
