Is that Torq riders I see? And yeah, looks like alot of fun. Am definately up for that.
My riding is more up and down than the damn area I live in! And the tart's knickers who lives next door - Combined!  :o
Looks great, think ill do it.  How far is a lap, couldn't see details on the site though more likely ive missed it rather than it not being there.
Ignore the above - just found the info -

"Race distances are typically 7-10 km per lap. This will vay on the type of course and weather conditions. the target time for the fastest Elite riders is 20 minutes per lap."
Similar to Gorrick really. I will only do 2 lap fun which in the past has mean ~55 to 80 minutes for the race and I normally get top 20 out of 100 whereas at Fowlmead I struggle to get top 60 out of 80 odd and I did a 3 lap Masters at Gorrick once and was 2nd to last in class....sod that!

Take it your not going now as your still injured from Fowlmead?
Correct and I couldnt pursuade anyone else I knew to enter so I could tag along to watch so made other plans for the day now. Shame as the course looked good from the video. The website is unclear though on whether you can ride around the estate at any other time or whether its just for walkers to see the big house thing. Gorrick Autumn Classic 18th October is the next race for me.
Breezer, I help organisethe Southerns.  The estate is privately owned and the house isn't 'open' either. The army use the land which is where most of the trails come from.  The land owner built the downhill tracks for his own and his mates use.  Please don't try to ride there  - you might get shot and we might not get allowed back!  If you're after some racing before the Gorrick come and try the Ratz Rampage at Checkendon.
Hi. I would never ride somewhere that was possibly private without checking first! I was going to try and find out if you were allowed to ride there so I could go there in future but no need now as you have informed us.
