Bite Valve Issues ...
#1
Im extremely chuffed with my Hydrapak Big Sur ... But have one major problem: The bite valve is utter shite ! To get to the drink you have to yank away at the bite valve to open it and then suck away ... Obviously this isnt a problem when on a ride where there are plenty of places to stop but when racing yesterday i found myself almost ripping my teeth out and riding with 1 hand as i tried to get some fluid out mid ride ! I got so fed up in the end i had to stop and use both hands !

I thought about trying to retro fit my camelback bite valve on there but the tube is much bigger on the hydrapak.. Is there a big bite valve with a larger connector diameter out there ?

Or do i have to cough up to put a camelbak bladder in there ?
