Double ring and bash set-up?
#1
Looking at changing to a double ring and bash set-up. I've seen the price of the e-13 chain guides with bashring :o but is it worth having a chain guide aswell? I figured i can shorten the chain so would eliminate the chain slap and falling off!
So far i'm thinking of going for the e-13 bash ring but i'm stuck on what sprocket to get as the shimano chain rings seem to be specific to chainsets...i did spot an slx double set-up only ring but not sure if that would fit the xt cranks aswell?

So basically, is it worth buying a chain guide as well and what 36t chainring should i be looking at to fit m770 cranks?
