Shimano XTR/Sram XO 2011

Looks like they've got 10 speed !
Good find there Steve any more info?

Just going from an internet translation here

From the chart it looks like 10 speed will be passed down as far down as SLX !

Shimano are offering 3x10, 2x10 and 1x10 setups

There will be no 2011 XO Gripshift

Sram will be adopting up to a 36 tooth cassette where as shimano will not be
Proves where the technology's at I guess Wink
Darkside machines are 11 speed & the Shimano 10 speed has electronic shifting Undecided

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
(Sorry - That's is actually QI Steve Wink)
Any idea when it's due out?

Think i would go for the double and bash and 11-34 10 speed cassette for super close gears. I don't like the big gaps between gears with my current 11-34 set up.
these go up to eleven ;-)

Biggest at the back is only 29 though, so pretty much useless up steep climbs for mere mortals. Tinc runs a road cassette on his MTB, but he is a machine!
'but these go up to eleven'

"why not just make 10 louder?"

LMAO Mudhound & Breezer Big Grin

Nice find Steve-o, surely it'll be 2011/12 before we see 10 cogs on the SLX range?
