Mega cheap tiny video cameras
#1
I was bored a while back and ended up ordering two of these tiny video cameras off ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...0386276882

They were £13 each with postage from China or somewhere, took a couple of weeks. Wasnt expecting much but thought could be interesting rigged up in my car somewhere for events and trackdays. Results are actually ok plus the microphone works unlike a lot. I havent tried it on the bike yet but I expect it will get the wobbles but no worse than the ~£100 ones out there. You can remove a lot of them with post processing anyway so I will do some tests on the bike and see what happens.

Did some brief camera testing earlier on the car though and then played around with picture in picture processing afterwards. Seems to work quite well (ignoring transparency in 1st one and timing issue in 2nd one and blowing exhaust on the car but thats a different subject...) Cant get rid of the time/date at the bottom which is a pain but I could just crop it off.

I will update with bike mounted ones at the weekend

heh....... dont expect them to be great on the bike but we shall see. Mounting is so crucial. My vholdr gets a bit wobbly if mounted on my head but cable tied to the bike its rock solid but these little things have just as good quality pretty much and infinitely better sound!

I had a GoPro Wide which was ok but for the money I would say the quality on them little things is better.
