Wheel upgrade advice
#1
Further to the fork thread...

I currently have a set of XT tubeless wheels.  They are QR hubs so if i want to change to a 15mm axle fork i would need to replace them.  As they are 24 spoke i can't just switch the hubs over.

My question is what should i replace them with?  I would want similar weight or less (1680g excluding skewers) and tubeless is a must.  I'm not interested in converting with a tubeless kit.

What options do i have and how much will it cost me??  Selling as a set and replacing both front and rear would be my preferred option

Wont be cheap is the answer. My front Pro II with 819 tubeless rim is 100g or almost 1/4lb heavier than the QR15 XT 778 front wheel on the zesty for example but then that only has 24 spokes or something silly whereas the Hope is 32

I like the look of those Hope Hoops. Anyone got any experience of the No Tubes rims? I think they have the option of ZTR 355 or flow IIRC. Would the lighter of the 2 be too fragile? I've seen some builds quote rider weight limits but not sure if this is due to spokes or rims...

Also, its unclear about the no tubes rims. Name suggests they are tubeless some sites suggest i need rim tape to run them ust. Any ideas?
