BHF :  Bedgebury Insomnia 12hr Night Race
#1
Saturday 18th September 2010

Solo or Team entires for chariddy for the British Heart Foundation around Bedgebury

I think one of two from here did it last year : Ridg? was it?

Looked fairly well organised from when I turned up at the end of it last year for a morning blast - digital timing etc.

Plenty of others to choose from, even a London to Hastings Road Ride for Breezer!  Big Grin

Probably give the bedgbury one a miss due to the inability to function during the night.

This one however looks all good -

When:

Saturday 26 June 2010 - Saturday 31 July 2010
Where:

35, 65 or 100 Miles accross the South Downs Way
Entry Fee:

Are you tough enough?

Known to many as the toughest off-road bike ride in the UK, the South Downs Way RandonnÃÂe is not to be missed in 2010!

What’s the route?
Choose from either the 100, 65 or 35 mile off-road route.
The 100 mile starts from Winchester and finishes at Eastbourne.
The 65 mile starts at Winchester and finishes at Devil's Dyke Brighton.
The 35 miles starts from Devil's Dyke and finishes at Eastbourne.

the problem with a lot of those is the different start/finish locations. making logistics a pain.

there's an offroad London to Paris! but you need your own support vehicle, and no accomodation or campsites are arranged.

did the 1st night one on SDW with exposure lights - 74 mile night ride

well organised - roll up and pitch tent at finish and then coach, lorry with bikes to start

set off sunset and get to end 11 hours later and crash into tent for a while - assume randonee on SDW has similar options re driving to finish and bussed back to start
