Stolen bikes
Hope no-one minds, but this is an email from my local cycling club re some stolen bikes in Sittingbourne:
I've editd the guys details out as although he's obviously happy to have his details circulated amongst club members, I don't know if he'd want them posted on the internet.

Could you possibly mail members to ask them to keep ears/eyes open following a theft of 4 bikes from my shed in Sittingbourne Friday afternoon?

Two really ought to attract a bit more than a few ££s if the thieves know they have :

A Mens Giant SCR3 2007 model (black with red trim) , L size, with new Shimano RS20 wheels/conti gator tyres, shimano clipless pedals a selle italia saddle plus Lezyne saddle pack/pump

A Carrera Kraken grey mountain bike with bikehut wheels ( i think "L" frame- but not sure)

The other two are identical Appollo Cafe bikes, grey, I think 20"frames

In addition, a pair of Alex road wheels (the originals on the Giant) plus a pair of Shimano road wheels, I think 500s or something like that, one with a broken rear hub, were also taken

I'm more than  happy for you to paste this entire text into an email, plus my name and home number **********or both this and my work email**************perhaps more usefully members could call Sittingbourne police station who have our name plus a crime ref.

The only good news is that my newly acquired carbon bike was in the house at the time.
