New local(ish) LBS
#1
Just been out on a lunch time drive and drove past a new LBS in Sandgate.

The Hub Cycle Shop. I went in and had a chat with the chap, Simon, and he seems pretty decent. They are selling specialised, marin and ghost bikes among others. Plus they had a decent range of clothing too. Service and repair are on offer as well. Not sure what else he's going to stock as he's only been there two months.

I'll let him tell us more about his plans as I told him to come on and say hello but he is organising regular rides.

The website is <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehubcycleshop.com">www.thehubcycleshop.com</a><!-- w -->

He used to be the manager of cyclelife Canterbury then decided to open his own shop. I think he's planning on having a cafe at the bike shop too.

Yeah he did say that, with retro bikes as decoration. He had a mint condition original raliegh burner in there along with some other retro bmx's. It looked quite cool.

ooh heh, might go along. Mud Dock Cycles in Bristol has an excellent large cafe with outside balcony if you are ever down that way plus some very tasty bikes
