Edit: Pro pedals been dead for a loong while, so guessing for that alone I'm far better off sending it off

If you have issues with pro pedal then send it off, I personally wouldn't attempt anything more than seal change which having done a couple now is very easy.

Yeah send the shock off. Changing the air can seals is easy but I think you need to know what you are doing in the damper.
