Cwm Rhaeadr Trail
This short(6.7km) trail is approx 20 miles NE of Brechfa and is one of the gems of Wales.Although only 6.7km long and takes only 45 minutes to ride it packs a twisty undulating punch for its size. The first couple of Kilometers are fireroad which ends with a stunning view, then onto to singletrack climb twisting upwards. Then down into the trees for the twisty descent back down to the car park. This trail is like a mini Brechfa, all the great bits of Brechfa compressed into a few Kilometers.Rode this last Sunday along with Black route Brechfa.
Whats depressing is that Cwm Rhaeadr and Bedgebury are both FC land, both short trails but ones brilliant the other useless. How can this be?
good vid of Rowan Sorrell on this - he built it and loads of flow and its close to Brechfa
