So I've just bought a pair of flats for my Fatty & they come with different length pins but no guidelines of which length pin should be where...looking for some advice please

You could just cut out the middle man & hammer them straight into your shins

I only ride on flats and find the short pins good enough for anything. Try short first then add long pins in places if you find your not getting the grip. People do mix the lengths up. Other thing to consider is long pins tend to destroy shoes quicker.
Probably already know this but flats are only as good the shoes your using them with, five tens are the king for me but anything very flat works, bad shoes like running or hiking ones, these are the big reason people have to peel the pedals out of there shins from their feet slipping off. |
