Surrey GPS route
#11
Just been looking through this thread & it dawned on me that the GPS file has no direction! Undecided
Do you follow the wooded section or the fireroad section from the carpark start?

The wrong decision here will mean peddaling up all your favourite DH sections! :o

The fire road bit is at the start, you don't go strait onto fire road though, it goes into the woods, fun DH bit then onto a fire road climb.

From the start go east, its fairly obvious when you are there as if you head due south on what looks like a fireroad on the map you will realise your riding the wrong way up a trail.

"Buzz" Wrote:Put my GPS on my bike for a ride, here is one of my normal loops with all my favorite sections.

Its 15miles long with 2000ft of climbing/descending, it took me 3hours with 1 short stop. The route should be perfect as i didnt make any mistakes and continued on the route from trail to trail.

There are some very steep sections but you can see them coming, there are a few jumps but you can go round them.

Longer more xc orientated GPS coming next week.

On the Garmin Connect site.
