I voted flats as that what I'm used to. However, I now have 2 nasty holes in my left shin after a big off at the weekend :'( so might change my mind ...

I voted flats and will continue to do so, but have a growing collection of dark scars on my right shin from slipping off pedals. Pedals I have slipped off include;

DMR V8
DMR V12
Nanotech (in pimp gold)

I now have some stormtrooper-esque shin guards, given that I managed to slip whilst still in the garden the other week (not my bike so not my fault) i think the guards are a good investment.

Current scar poll runs at 7, but I do tend to c0ck about a bit more than most. Andy was following me once and saw me slip and gouge my shin whilst riding, he laughed his t1ts off. Thanks mate... Wink
