Trek 8000 mate, 10.5Kg beast, though I'm looking at short travel full suss XC's for a summer upgrade atm.
Orbea OIZ M50 is currently top of my "hubba hubba" pile, but I'm open to suggestions Big Grin

That's a nice looking bike!! I should get mine on some scales! I used to have a stumpjumper fsr and that was a nice bike. Maybe too much travel for you though. Even as a 26er it climbed well

Thanks man, no such thing as a test bike or anything for the Orbea, can't even get to look & play without actually ordering it, so sod that.

The pile top has now changed, am seriously considering a Whyte T130 Yari now, having had a good play with a T130S on Friday.
Briefly toyed with a "lightweight racer" hardtail 29er, but even that was almost 12 kilo. Seems that all Full sus 27.5/29" bikes are long & heavy compared to my Trek, so figure I might as well go for something mad & British instead Big Grin

I was looking at the t130 last night!! That looks like a good ride! I should get mine this week so I can tell you what the forks are like as they have the same.

I'm thinking to swap my ragley with a guy on pink bike for a yeti 575 in medium so I'm hoping to get my wife out on that one!

Be careful with the Yeti and check it thoroughly for cracks, TomA who doesn't post much has had a nightmare with his Yeti cracking, 3 front and 3 rear triangles in 4 years I believe. They have a rep for eating bearings too.

The swap fell through Sad cheers for the heads up though mate. So the ragley is still kicking around in the garage until I find its new home.
