well, it's about damn time !!!!!
afternoon all
Marcus here and I have decided it's about time that I come back to the world of MTB. some of you may remember me sporting the big green orange alpine 160 around Surry Hills back in the day after selling that I moved onto the Whyte g150 works, ended up stepping away from riding whilst focusing on getting my adult life on track so getting setting in work, getting married, buying a house all that kind of stuff that eats more money than it should

, but now everything is settled it's time for the come back.
during my break, i had to sell the Whyte so that the moment I'm looking at getting a new bike in the next few weeks luckily I still have all my gear so that's all I'm needing to get at the moment, once I have the bike I think the plan will be to jump right back in at the deep end and head up to Surry Hills ill keep you posted on that plan
but will be good to meet some old familiar faces as well as some new ones.
Happy trails and see you soon

Welcome back Marcus!
Great to hear you've been busy adulting but have seen the light at last

So what bike are you looking at then, or are there just too many options at present? MBR have just finished their annual TBOTY tests and there's some absolute crackers in the top 5.
p.s. Still having all the gear is one thing, still being able to fit in it after not riding for years is another *lol*

thanks for the welcome dubster
its been a long time coming that for you,
at the moment I'm torn on what bike I'm wanting to get so many options Ideally I'm wanting a hardcore hardtail nothing with anything less that 140mm travel up front and an aggressive head angle at the moment I have it shortlisted down to the orange p7s, the orange crush s and the Ragley Piglet, however, i keep looking through tredz and there are so many options.

Whyte 9 series are very well loved if in budget, and you can't go wrong with Orange or Ragley
I totally love my T130S, been a mega bunch of fun, though tis a slog on the climbs, it's such a hoon on the techy bits I don't care so much!
Sure you'll find something decent and fun though matey.
