Lovely adder dude. I've got an adder story for you.
One day I took my dog for a walk in the forest near my house, she topped walking halfway round and would not move. I had to carry her home and was nearly late for school. Mum took the dog to the vet as we thought she may have had a weird stroke or something. That afternoon, home from school, there was a dead adder on the front step, it had blood coming from it's neck and appeared to have been caught and brought home as a trophy by the cat. I carefully (stepping over the adder) let myself into the house and watched it from indoors. It wasn't very dead, it eventually awoke and buggered off. Mum and the dog came home from the vet's, turned out that the dog had been bitten by... An Adder!
Keep it foolish...

Saw an Adder the other day at Swinley... came flying round a corner and there was a crow and an Adder locked in mortal combat bang in the middle of the trail... crow flew off and the Adder 'snaked' its way back into the undergrowth... cool

This is at the Bodiam castle, walking up any further meant plunging to your death back down the spiral stair case. think its a rather polite way of telling dumb asses not to keep trying to walk up a stair way thats not there.

Posted the first photo before, me on my first motorbike, a 50cc, aged around 3.5 however this turns out to be wrong after finding the other photo today, aged around the turn of 3, a moped with stabilisers!
So wish I hadn't given it up when I was 10 as I might actually have some talent on a mtb now if I had kept it going ![]() Also found a photo of me at the FOD but I was about 6 months, in a washing up bowl and exposing myself so I won't be posting that... |
