My mother does yoga, yes she can lick her own ears or something but she still gets knackered walking upstairs. Yoga is inadequate without additional exercise. Stupid spambot

After losing my Alps cherry this Summer I've been looking at bodyweight exercises to boost my scrawny torso.
A couple of links I found useful: 101 Bodyweight exercises you can do anywhere Powerful Push Up Variations

Found this yesterday: "The Recommended Routine"
Its a beginner training plan, each exercise links to a video so you can see what you're actually meant to be doing. https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitne...ed_routine

Thanks for the links, always good to have new exercises to keep in fun. Getting stronger Iv found brought my riding on from a stage I felt I'd plateaued at. Also hand strength is something worth thinking about (long alpine descents of 20mins give lovely arm pump), there's plenty of hand strengtheners to help, also found going back to some climbing helped. great for hands and upper body strength and a lot of fun to boot.
