Is this really a good price? Worth it? (The bog standard price I mean)
My riding is more up and down than the damn area I live in! And the tart's knickers who lives next door - Combined!  :o
i'm currently paying around 22 a year through mcc offroad (not sure on level of cover though) so price does not seem to bad.

Whilst you face a risk of another rider suing you, this is very unlikely. The main risk is riding on the road and hitting a car. This is when the cover comes in useful. In terms of hitting other riders, this is more likely in a race, therefore given you are entering a few, probably worth the little extra in cost
horse on bridlways and then bucking a rider is an issue

its 3rd party insurance and claims  assistance/legal helpline etc with CTC thru MCC - costs 12-15 plus share of hefty club fee
also insures ride leaders as we've had some go for it guys who don't slow down an d even when told by his mates to slow down he got flipped in Capstone and wa out cold for 6 mins

new guest riders who fall off on a slight hill cos cant use bike etc and brake stuff - these are the guys who'll sue you
