replacement car key
Think I lost car keys today at gorrick - ill ask them tomorrow if handed in but failing that anyone know a place to get a replacement cheaper than a garage - its for a peugeot 307.
Modern keys are digitally coded for your car, so the dealership is the only real option.
I sold an old car for spares once when I lost my keys cause it cost more to buy new coded ones than replace the car  :Smile
Didn't you get a 'code' card and spare key with your peugot, take these to the dealer and they order keys precoded for your car. As above comments not cheap and only through main dealership.
Thats not what I wanted to hear  :'(

Thought there may have been independant locksmiths that had a line in car keys.

Here's hoping they turn up.
Check with a few key cutting places first, then ebay, then specialists before dealers.
Now I was under the impression that some key cutting places can chip. I went to one in Ashford to get a spare cut after I locked my one and only key inside the car  :B
I only got a key cut so I would be able to open the door if the same thing happened again but Im sure he said he could chip it as well which was going to cost about £25 so defo worth going into anywhere local like that and asking!
They were handed in & are getting posted back to me....RESULT.

Feel like ive won the lottery.
Nice! Similar to me when I left my HRM strap at Pippingford after the national champs due to throwing it off so that I could breath/pass out after the event, someone handed it in and the organisers sent it back and didnt want any money for postage!

Man logic time, you just saved £100 odd or maybe more so now have that money to spend on bike bits
Nice one. Its always nice when people do as you would do for them. I found a wallet in the carpark in Cwmcarn which I handed in. Id like to think that if it had been mine, someone else would have done the same.
