Chainring compatibility
#1
After the Wales trip I need to treat my crank to a new middle and inner ring.  I'd brought a Deore inner while there but found out it does not fit an external BB so was going to get another XT or SLX as a replacement.  In an attempt to keep costs down I was looking at one of THESE to use for the middle and just wanted to check it would fit ok?

What chainset have you got? If it's an M770 then the one you linked to will fit, but if it's the newer M772 then that isn't compatible, as the tabs are different, and if so you might be limited to XT M772s. Not sure if Middleburn have made any that fit yet.
