Olympic MTB venue gets police guard
#1
There's a report in todays Times that the Olympics MTB venue is being patrolled by the police to stop locals riding it.Some local teenagers have been riding it and some spokesman said its "dangerous".Shock, horror,MTB can be dangerous. And seeing how we've paid over £9 Billion to stage this if i lived nearby i would be riding it.

Big Grin
I liked the bit in the BBC  report that said "however, the police pointed out that nobody had actually been reported as riding the course yet" Big Grin

That's like standing outside a Maidstone nightclub and shouting "come and have go if you think your hard enough" Big Grin
