Was there much difference over 1080p? I can't see individual pixels on our 50" TV till about 2 foot away, so can't imagine it's worth it for anything under 120".
F1 is bloody good this year BTW, i'm even hooked to P1 and 2 sessions this year, and even like the sound of the engines now, and being able to hear the tyres screaching and the crowd. And the racing, and the rivaly between Lewis & Nico is brilliant, almost like Prost & Senna all over again Smile Can't wait for qually tomorrow, wonder if that was Nico's true pace in P2? I reckon he's definitely struggling with the new radio regs, despite his statment in the drivers press conferance to the contrary.

I like F1 because of its accessibility, it's served up for you and it's easy to follow because of the media coverage.

For me however Moto Gp  offers the best racing on the telly, and endurance stuff such as the Nurburgring 24 hour and Le mans are the best to go and watch in person.

Yes there is a big difference but and its a big but, you need a 70" screen and sit about 4 feet away. As soon as you go further away than this you start to lose the benefit as your eyes cant physically define the resolution.

Yes this season is pretty good, agreed on endurance is better to go watch, Le Mans was excellent this year.

Yeah that's what i was getting at. It's like the difference between 720 and 1080, can't really tell the difference on a sub 50" screen, but i can definitely tell that my PJ is only 720p on my 100" screen!
