You can now embed the following:-
.asf,.asx,.avi,.kar,.mid,.mov,mp3,.mpg,.mpeg,.qt,.qtm,.rm,.ra,.ram,.rmi,.wax,.wav,.wma,.wmv and .wpl.
Wrap a Youtube URL with [ media] and you'll embed that too  :-)

How to use:
Click the media button to get [ media]
or just type,
[ media]http://www.site.com/path/to/your/media.wmv

Parameters that can be used are:

[  media loop] to loop the file after manual start
[ media autostart] to autostart the file and play it once
[ media loop autostart] to autostart and loop the file after manual start
[ media autostart loop] to autostart and loop the file after manual start
Adding width=*** to the front tag gives you full control over the width of the player between 180 and 800 px.
The height is automatically adjusted to remain in a 4:3 ratio.

So [ media width=500]http://url/to/your/movie.mpg
will open Windows Media Player width 500 and waits for the play button to be clicked to start the movie.

Right...   I've sorted the {media} tags to work with Pinkbike now Wink

Just wrap the media tags around the Pinkbike URL (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.pinkbike.com/video/49357/">http://www.pinkbike.com/video/49357/</a><!-- m -->) and all should be good Wink

Giantalkali mentioned he couldn't get Facebook vids to show.
Here's how.... Tongue
The video has to be set so 'everyone' can view it.
You can only embed your own videos.  (this way Wink)
On you Facebook page click "Video" in the Applications bar...
Click "My Videos"....
Click on the video you want to embed...
This will then display the option to embed video...
Copy the code and paste it in a message...
Et voila...
<object width="576" height="432" ><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://www.facebook.com/v/1091909424522" /><embed src="http://www.facebook.com/v/1091909424522" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="576" height="432"></embed></object>

There is another way that lets you embed any video from Facebook if you use Firefox.   Use the Facebook Video add-in.  Bit flakey getting it to work, but with perseverance it works a treat.
