Downs link
#1
Anyone here ridden the downs link from Guildford down to Shoreham. Im thinking of riding it with my 11 year old son. Could do with a few tips etc. I have only just got back into biking just bought a Cube Attention and im getting a few bits and bobs together helmet etc etc. Im doing 15 -20 mile round trips along the Thames at the moment with no aches or pains so im sure the trip down to the sea will be fine.

i've done a fair bit of it, down to Southwater before turning around and heading to crawley, where all the cool kids come from. It's not bad, easy route and not too hilly, but it's a fairly long way if your lad's 11, maybe about 40 miles.
