2012 bikes
#1
Sailor told me about these today and just found them on Dirt's site. The 2012 Zesty and Spicy... They look very good.

Huh, so behind the times, I'm looking at a 2015 bike with three speeds, called the UDA = up / down / along. Like single speed for jessies.
Keep it foolish...

you heard it here first but these (lapierres) will knock the five off the top spot in 2012, despite a very tasty change to the 2012 five (well not sure if its a change or an option, either way folks are gonna want it).

Not in MBR they wont. I read their latest Trail Bike of the Year thing last week. Same again. Raved about the Zesty and picked holes in the 5. Guess what won.  :Smile

I know I read it, it was really odd as they seemed to have more complaints about the five. The reason the five wins every year is that it goes down hill faster, assuming the blurb is correct and they have addressed this then I predict the five will be kicked off the top spot next year.

I thought last years was the best ever? and the year before that?...

Mag reviews are best used as toilet paper, who pays the most advertising gets the best reviews.... regularly see the mbr boys riding round surrey on the fives...which they get for free....

I would hope so, regardless of model and manufacturer, nobody wants to go backwards. As for mag reviews are best used as toilet paper, I take it you are not referring to your own!  Tongue It is true though, plus you have to consider the type of riding the mag is aimed at, you can be pretty sure the aspects that score a bike well in Dirt are the same ones that loose it points in What Mountainbike.
