Bontrager TwentyFour12 : July 2009
#1
New thread then for the Bontrager 24/12 in Newnham Park Plympton, Plymouth, Devon, PL7 5BN on the 25th/26th July.

We have entered 1 team into the Open Male 24hr category : Team : "Handlebar Must-Dash"

We may have 1 or 2 spare places on our team, Pittgoat has expressed interest in joining the team, others welcome, although a Sketchy Team to join us would be great banter and a good promotion of Kent MTB'ers!

Nice one, what are the costs involved in entering and do you have to pay for sleeping arrangements?

Price for the Mens Open Team 24hr is £168 - Max 5 members.

Camping is included in the price for you and support crew/family/friends etc, seems to be pretty open on who comes along.

Not sure if you have to pay for showers, but nothing a dirtworker and a windbreaker cant sort out!!  Tongue

Take it you have to supply your own tent??

Yep, you need to bring everything..

We've got a bargain family tent off Ebay before xmas for £40 - sleeps 9!

Will probably have another tent for those who may want to hide out the way to sleep!

Im hoping I can park the van next to where we camp to be a nice pit work area and provide power for the dirtworker if things get muddy on the laps!

I have a large tent as well if required, plus lots of camping essentials like a stove, kettle and comfy reclining chair Wink

Would be good to get a camp set up for a couple of teams and i'd happily trek down the night before if needs be.

So any more people interested?  Andy this has got your name all over it!
