Advice on these things.....
#1
Im looking at buying these things as when i go back to work in September (yes i do work in a school) i will be cycling and currently dont have a coat, front lights, helmet.

firstly the jacket

My cycle ride is only about 10-15 minutes so it needs to be able to stand a bit of rain and cold

then the lights

Im not really going to need them all the time so dont really want to buy expensive front lights.

so i was thinking two of these at the front

the helmet

i had a try on of this one of a random person i saw once while out walking the dog.

I know ive posted a thread before but ive now actually decided that these are what i am going to buy.

Any advice or recomendations? Ideally i dont want to spend over £200  Smile (nice tax refund  ;D)

I  was pondering between the gridlock and the altura night vision, and i went for the night vision, i love it, fit is superb, collar is fleecy and comfy.  Not ideal for height of summer, bit ideal for any other time and the added bonus you light up like blackpool when a headlights on you, but less understated when not. I bought the black one.

Ditto but I have the red one. Brilliant jacket, worth every penny.

I dont need it to be reflective as I mainly cycle during day time but with the gridlock id probably go for yellow so i can be seen during day lol

IIRC there were some super cheap front lights on eBay linked to a while back.  Might be worth a "cheap lights" thread search...
