funny thing is I generally can't stand anything to do with the supercowardlygarlic types over the pond but they do make a nice bike  ;D

That new years day ride at Blean there was me on my red Inbred with black Pikes, Andy on his red Inbred with black Pikes and Steve on his red Carrera with black forks.... was like the fire brigade daily outing or something

Yes, another red 456 with black Pikes....although he is the one that snapped his collar bone on friday so no danger of him riding with us for a while

I got the bars, stem and grips from either Wiggle or Chainreaction, in fact I think it was bits from both of them (!) The bars are a perfect width for me although I have read of some riders fitting bars over 800mm wide - a bit overkill although if you've got David Seaman type arms/hands maybe not. :o

Don't you find your bars are too wide for riding in the woods? Mine used to be 710mm and after a year of people shouting at me for having to walk the bike through trees and holding them up i had to cut them down! Shame as i liked them that wide round places like Surry and Afan but they were just too impractical. I think anything over 685mm are intended for DH only.
