Weekly Weigh-in thread
#21
I've been doing this for a while, but fallen off the wagon a little recently. Maybe the public element will help with my efforts! I've been doing it in kilos though, so when I boast about my efforts even if I've done badly, people are generally too lazy to check what I actually weigh. I'm 5'9" by the way.

I've been at it since 24th April this year and started at 89.7kg (just over 14 stone) after returning from holiday. I saw myself in the holiday snaps and knew something had to be done! I weigh in every Friday morning. Anyway, for those interested here's how it's gone week by week:

89.7
83.8
82.8
81.7
81.7
80.3
79.0
78.7
78.9
78.6
77.2
77.9
76.1
75.8
76.7
76.4
77.6
76.4
76.2
76.2
75.9
76.1
76.7
77.5

77.6
76.4
77.7
77.9
77.1
80.1
77.7
78.2
77.4 (12.2 stone)

I'm aiming to get down to 70kg before April 2012 by cycling and watching my diet. I found that 5-a-side football was by far the biggest weight loser, but alas my hamstring doesn't seem to agree! If I can cut down on my love of cider I think I can pull it off, but it's gonna be hard!

Lots of exercise works best for  me. When life settles down I hope to be able to go to the gym most nights as well as ride at least twice per week.

My problem is that I HATE going to the gym and I don't do any other sport, except ski ing but I always manage to put on weight every time I go on a ski ing holiday lol. Might try swimming, I don't mind that. I can't remember the last time I went swimming....think it was when we were in Lombok nearly 2 years ago :o

Yeah especially my local gym, which is full of body builders with arms the size of my thighs.

My new gym is a bit like that. Its a small place so the weight monkeys are all in close proximity. Grunting, dropping weights, doing that funny jog on the spot thing whilst shadow boxing. Well annoying.

Quit, send me the money you pay to go there and look in a mirror, I will provide you with a mirror for your house and you can pretend you are a budgie at home instead
