Sure the report I saw stated "stronger than steel, lighter than aluminium" so they must be ok.
ASt least it wouldn't rust, but on the other hand it might warp if left in the sun, and there's the panda issue noted above (that really made I larff) Big Grin Big Grin

Would the frame get bigger over time as well as the bamboo grew? Ideal for a youngster perhaps so they can grow with it.

Yup. They come with a some fertilizer and a special watering can type thing and everything.

I was expecting to find on opening this thread something that should have gone into the crap bikes thread and it to be lashed together by bits of rope like when there building bamboo scaffolding :o. Only to be looking at a bike that to me looks pretty cool, i am a sucker for new ideas though.
