Losing the Big Ring

Somebody, Breezer I think, did a thread explaining how to lose the big ring and fiddle with the front mech etc a long time ago. I can't find it.

Its a sticky.... cant remove the big ring on a 26 when dry ive concluded unless its a ridicously heavy bike. Probably ok on a cheat bike as the cheat wheels effectively up the gearing http://sketchymtb.co.uk/Blah.pl?m-1256685123/

Well we do ride the same bikes although apparently his is the girl edition making mine the manly one. Obviously this trend doesnt continue with our riding ability  Wink
