Speeding Offences
#1
Might be of interest to some of you, basically with speeding tickets a VRM will generally only be issued after 9 previous incidents over the legal limit for that specific road unless you speed recorded is way over the limit. The previous hits are stored on a public database which can be accessed by checking your VRM on the website. If there are offences it will give location details and image of driver captured by camera.

Website is http://www.i-database.co.uk/ if anyone is interested.

I've just checked my reg and i've been busted doing 37.9mph in a 30 - but I can't see how I can get a speeding ticket as the markings on the road are in the incorrect position - what i mean is there aren't any.

So I posit that if there aren't road markings, there is nothing to use as a measure of my speed - am I correct in my thinking?
