For those of you fed up with Garmin Connect (who wouldn't be? It's useless) -

New GPS data storing/analysing site with social functions. When you upload a ride stave will automatically look at your route and tell you how fast you did certain sections compared to other riders on Strava, can add friends/favouite routes etc. There is a premium paid for section but from what I can see the free section gives you most of the functionality you need.

Its not limited to just Garmin devices, there are free strava apps available for iPhone and android.

First impressions are promising and of course the more people that use it the better the database of recorded section times will be.

I guess I must have  :B   Though in my defence I don't often look in the "I'm a geek" section.

Does it automatically split your ride into section or do you have to do it manually?

If someone else has picked a section on part of your route before it will come up automatically, else you can select your own.

Some minor discrepancies, it found Yoghurt pots OK, but missed my run down Barrys, but when I tried to add Barrys it found it. I guess this down to GPS sensitivity?

Rich, you are right, there are a couple of hills round this way that I will be attacking that bit more Wink
