Nuke-proof Generator wheel, any good ?
#1
Just looking at front wheels to go with my new 15mm thru axle marzocchi forks. I like the look of the Nuke-proof generator 2012. i want to spend about £100, stuck between nuke-proof and Hope pro 2  Undecided

Anyone got recommendations ?

thanks,

Harry  ;D

Strong and Heavy by the looks of it. What do you weigh, and what sort of riding do you want to be doing on the new bike?

I'm 10st 4lb so quite light. I want to do trails, and perhaps a bit of aggressive freestyle / DH. Not too bothered about weight, just wanting something that will last and that looks nice  Tongue

Think I have got some 15mm adaptors but im pretty sure they come with 15mm and QR.

Bargain.

They do white too. but for more monies... Why anyone would pay 10/15 more for white is beyond me. It's tomorrows gash colour.

In the absence of anybody more knowledgeable than me, that wheel is probably overkill what with you weighing sod all. Stans Flow rims on a Hope or Superstar hub seem popular and are a lot lighter. You could probably save about 200g over than Nukeproof wheel which is rather significant saving the wheel department.

Superstar seems to do hubs in every colour known the man too.
