Removing helicopter tape residue
#1
Any easy way of doing it rather than rubbing it off with WD40, White spirit of Rubbing Alcohol? Ive tried the hair dryer and that doesnt speed things up either. Not got the patience for this!

Try a tar removal type product. Autoglym do one for cars. Works wonders.

As weird as this may sound... Deodorant works wonders for removing sticky residue. Not the antiperspirant stuff though.

For carbon I'd take a little more care, maybe using a 'bagger 288' attachment.
Keep it foolish...

For carbon frames I would use wd40 but also hold a lit match in the path of the spray

Try plunging it into liquid nitrogen and then beat it soundly with a hammer?
Keep it foolish...
