sus forks
hi all
rite ive got the same banshee as steve with the suntour forks that have about 140mmish of travel  but ive been hunting ebay n always like the orignal bomber z1 would you use them over the suntour  both have adjustable damping n rebound  the z1 have less travel only 100mm but no lock out yet they was a very expensive fork in there time.  what do you lot think
No basically as way to short. Let a load of air out of your front works and ride along, you will note thats its nose down all the time which is exactly what it would be like with 100mm forks. Whenever changing you dont want to go much more than 20mm extra and never less unless its on climbs and you want to drop the front down using an on the fly travel adjust like my manitous have or fox talas's

The suntours may be a bit shorter than other forks so you could possibly get away with some decent 130's like <08 Rock Shox Revelations. You need to measure the axle to crown height of your forks then compare to others and ask people on ebay etc to confirm the length of theirs (ooer)

See on here for some recent lenghts and how to measure
not really after new forks just seen sum cheap n always liked them so just thought would they be alright lol
